Leap Year - Take the Leap!

Well, this is a GREAT story . . .

Classic Hits radio in Auckland NZ had a very creative idea for a giveaway on Leap Day. They asked women if they were willing to propose to their boyfriends on Leap Day. What's the catch? If he said yes, they had to leave for Fiji in a few hours, and get married at Crusoe's Retreat!

Well, Catherine proposed to Sinclair, and sure enough, he said YES! So, they are off to Fiji to get married at Crusoe's Retreat.

Are you up for a game?

You know what makes Crusoe's Retreat so special? Nothing is forced here. If guests want to hang out together, they do so. We don't make our guests sit at one long table for dinner. However, if 2 or 3 couples want to push some tables together so they can dine with each other, than that is great.

One way we have fun at the resort are impromptu volleyball games. Grab a ball, ask some guests, staff, or some friendly folks from our neighbouring village to play, and have yourself a blast!

Is that a Foot?

Crusoe's Retreat is very well known for its world-famous "Foot Pool". Come swim some laps along the 'arch'. Or, sit and relax with a cocktail in the 'big toe'. Any way, just relax and enjoy The Foot!

Coco's Spa - still going strong

We are very proud to announce that Coco's Spa is going strong after one year in its new location. The relaxed, quiet atmosphere of Coco's Spa is conducive to amazing spa therapies. Our lucky guests have been raving about their relaxing massages. While we have always said that Crusoe's Retreat is a relaxed place - it really is, particularly in our Coco's Spa.

Monty - our expert weaver @ Crusoe's Retreat

Once per week, our friend and neighbour Monty comes to Crusoe's Retreat to show off his amazing weaving skills. Monty can create some amazing weavings, from hats and bags, to boxes, insects, puzzles, and more. Monty's relaxed and friendly demeanor make time spent with him very special. We are lucky to have Monty do such amazing work with our guests.
