Thanks for Visiting!

Fiji was host to the annual BFTE Tourism Meetings, which were held at a resort about 20 minutes from Crusoe's.
We were very fortunate to have 26 lovely people from 20 different wholesale travel companies take the time to visit us at Crusoe's. To all these great people, we wish to send our thanks for taking the time to visit us and to experience for yourselves, albeit for a brief moment, the Crusoe's experience.
We hope to see you all again very soon!

Thanks Allison & Margaret

A great big Vinaka Vakalevu to Allison and Margaret for visiting Crusoe's Retreat. This is their 4th visit to Fiji - and their 4th visit to Crusoe's! We are so happy that you consider Crusoe's to be your home in Fiji. It is so nice seeing you both again.

Margaret loves helping out in our Guest Library, and has been such a huge help in arranging our book collection by author's name. We have renamed our Guest Library "Margaret's Library".

Thanks again for visiting us.
Love,
Your Crusoe's Retreat family

When is a Wedding a 'Non-Wedding'?

We were so lucky to have Andrew & Cherie visiting us at Crusoe's Retreat. They traveled all the way from the USA and planned on getting married on our sandy beach. However, due to other circumstances (particularly, their families REALLY wanted them to get married at home so they could attend), they had to cancel their wedding plans with us. Their trip to Fiji, however, was still a GO!

Andrew and Cherie stayed with us for a week and really enjoyed their stay. While they were disappointed that they could not get married here, they most certainly got the most out of their stay at Crusoe's.

Toni, one of our new Managers, had a great idea: let's surprise them with a "Non-Wedding". So, on their last day with us, we surprised them with a wedding ceremony at Crusoe's Retreat (don't worry family - it was just a ceremony, nothing legal!). We had several staff members dress Andrew & Cherie for their wedding in colorful sulus. We decorated the beach area, and we brought in some 'witnesses'. We gave them an Unofficial Wedding, complete with Cake and Champagne.

Andrew & Cherie - Thanks for coming to Crusoe's Retreat for your Non-Wedding. It was so nice to meet you and we hope to see you again very soon!

This Wedding is for the Fishes!

A GREAT BIG congratulations to Margaret and Mike on their Wedding at Crusoe's Retreat. This was truly a wedding for the ages . . . and the fishes!
Why?
Margaret and Mike decided to get married UNDERWATER!
This is truly one of the most unique weddings ever held in Fiji.
